Dr. Lindsay Sturm has over 10+ years of surgical experience. She is a small-town Minnesota native who enjoys spending summers back in northern Minnesota with her family taking in all the outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, and fishing.


Dr. Sturm attended the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joesph for her undergraduate studies. She went on to earn her medical degree from the founding school of osteopathic medicine, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her five-year otolaryngology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center and was the chief resident in her 4th and 5th years. During this time, Dr. Sturm taught several ENT courses to the medical students at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and received the Master teacher award. Additionally, she completed her fellowship training in Chattanooga, TN at Southern Surgical Arts.


She has spoken at several conferences regarding cosmetic surgery and has published several articles in the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. Her leadership has also led her to train physicians on new technology at the American Training Institute.

Dr. Sturm currently lives and practices in Ames, Iowa. She enjoys time with her husband (Sean), her daughter (Ava), her dog (Cy), and cheering on Iowa State! According to Dr. Sturm, being a mother is the most spectacular thing she has ever achieved to date.
